First, welcome to my blog. Usually all my friends ask me what is “just my 2 cents” anyway…
Just my two cents… here what mr Wikipedia said about it :
“My two cents” and its longer version “put my two cents in” is an American idiomatic expression, taken from the original British idiom expression: to put in ” my two pennies worth” or ” my tuppence worth”. It used to preface the stating of one’s opinion. By deprecating the opinion to follow — suggesting its value is only two cents, a very small amount — the user of the phrase hopes to lessen the impact of a possibly contentious statement, showing politeness and humility. However, it is also sometimes used with irony when expressing a strongly felt opinion. The phrase is also used out of habit to preface uncontentious opinions.
Ok, that’s for just my 2 cent definition. This blog is about what my opinions and comments that popped out from my head when I see things or situation. I am not an expert about things that I posted or discussed here, but I think everyone has his / her right to speak out their opinion. In 1998 to 2006 I chose to go to Bandung, the capital city of West Java, to continue my education in one of government owned Institute. This institute was very infamous in Indonesia, dunno why, but definitely not because they used GANESHA as the symbol. I got my engineering degree and MBA degree there.
What do I do ? a lot, of course… but I prefer to keep it confidential. Let just say, during the working hours I work in “you don’t know” company in Jakarta. After that, I manage some websites and blogs just for fun, one of them is this one.
